Parreirinha Restaurante

Restaurante Parreirinha (Pa-rey-ring-here) – yes we do know it’s a tongue twister – has been called many different names by our regular customers, of which two are our favourites: Restaurante Parr and Restaurante Paraanha.

The name Parreirinha originates from the words “little grapevine” and in the original La Rochelle courtyard there is still a little grapevine, that up until a few years ago was producing grapes.
The original quaint spot in La Rochelle was established by two brothers-in-law in July 1975 and was locally known as the Sixth Street Police Station. We have brought some of the original holding cells bars with us to our new home in Melrose Arch, as well worry single tie collected over nearly five decades!

Parreirinha has never been just a restaurant… it’s a home away from home where total strangers meet and become life long friends.
