Zai Restaurant

Zai Restaurant is an authentic Argentinian grill-house specialising mainly in marbled meats with a fusion of Durban cuisine. Opened on the 1st of August 2022, the restaurant provides an alternative to the dining space of Durban. The restaurant’s exquisite interior matches the delicious dishes coming from our kitchen. Situated right on the periphery of Florida Road in Morningside, Zai is a culmination of true of flavour and a truly unique fine dining experience. You get a true Argentinian experience at Zai with our steaks and most of our meals being prepared on the Santa Marina grill over wood fire and charcoal. Our cuisine allows you to have a taste of the authentic dishes made deep in Argentina complemented by the Durban spicy cuisines. Zai’s cuisine gives you the experience of that wood-fired feel and flavour with a bit of theatrics with our flambeed steaks. With a menu that is done seasonally and everything made from fresh ingredients from the local markets and farms, our food is complemented by our drinks menu that has some of the best fine drinks both locally and internationally.
